As part of my senior-year Typography class, my classmates and I were given the opportunity to design and paint a mural for a game room on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus. The UMD Housing Department acted as our client and tasked us with developing phrases, a color palette, and an overall visual concept for the space. After presenting our designs to a panel from the Housing Department, our mural was selected as their favorite. We were then given the opportunity to bring the design to life by painting the mural ourselves, allowing us to leave a lasting impact and give back to a university that has given us so much.
